The Prize Draw
1. Participants who make a purchase from The Cinema Society platform through Discounts for Teachers, Discounts for Carers, Health Service Discounts or Charity Worker Discounts between the 26th April to 10th May 2026 (inclusive) shall be entered into a Prize Draw for the chance to win a 2-night 4* hotel stay for the winner and their guest and £1,000 shopping voucher. There is one (1) main prize available to be won. In addition, there will be fifty (50) runner-up prizes of a pair of cinema tickets each.
Eligibility
2. The Prize Draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over who are registered members of The Cinema Society through either Discounts for Teachers, Discounts for Carers, Health Service Discounts or Charity Worker Discounts, except employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, agents or any third partly directly associated with administration of the Prize Draw.
How to enter
3. To enter the Prize Draw, participants must purchase anything through The Cinema Society platform between 00.01 Sunday 26th April (the “Opening Date”) and 23:59 Sunday 10th May 2026 (the “Closing Date”).
4. There is no maximum number of entries; each transaction equals one automatic entry into the Prize Draw. There is no minimum spend necessary.
5. Orders placed outside of the Opening and Closing dates shall not be accepted and the Promoter accepts no liability for any technical issues of any kind that may prevent anyone from entering.
The Draw
6. One (1) winner and fifty (50) runner-up winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries who made a purchase via an independent computer process on the 12th May 2026.
7. The Cinema Society shall verify whether they have placed an order and share the winner’s name and email with Network Digital Marketing Ltd, the operator of the scheme. Upon confirmation, the winner shall be contacted immediately via email.
8. The main winner shall be contacted via the email linked to their account on the 12th May 2026. The main winner must accept and provide all required information within 28 days of initial contact. The Promoter may make reasonable efforts to contact the winner using any other contact details provided on their account, including phone number, where available. Failure to respond in time will result in the prize being forfeited and a reserve winner selected.
9. If the winner is uncontactable, chooses not to accept the Prize, or has not met the entry requirements, then the Promoter reserves the right to select a new winner who shall be drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions.
10. The 50 runner-up prize winners shall be contacted via email by the 15th May 2026 with details on how to claim their free tickets, which must be claimed by the 31st July 2026.
The Prizes
11. There will be one (1) main winner who shall receive an 2-night stay for 2 at a 4* hotel with £1,000 shopping voucher, both of the attendees must be aged 18+.
12. The Main Prize includes:
a) Two (2) nights’ accommodation for two guests in a double or twin room at a 4* hotel at a UK city of their choice, including breakfast. Valid locations are London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Cardiff, Edinburgh, York, Brighton, Glasgow and Bath.
b) A £1,000 shopping voucher including John Lewis, Selfridges or H Beauty. A full list of all available stores will be provided to the winner.
13. There shall be 50 Runner-up Prizes available, each for a pair of cinema tickets which will need to be claimed by the 31st July 2026.
14. Transport between your home and the chosen destination is the responsibility of the winner.
15. Any other costs and expenses in taking up the Prize, excluding those set out in Term 12 above, shall be at the winners expense.
16. The 1,000 shopping voucher must be redeemed within the time frame stated and cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or expired. Vouchers will be subject to each individual supplier's terms.
17. Travel for the Main Prize is not permitted over Christmas, New Year, Easter, Bank Holidays, trade fairs or local special events (i.e. Fashion Week / Sporting Events). Travel must be completed by 30th April 2027. All bookings must be made a minimum of 6 weeks (42 days) in advance of travelling.
18. Travel insurance is not included.
19. Prizes are non-transferable or exchangeable, there is no cash alternative and it and cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other special offer.
20. The Promoter reserves the right to replace any Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so.
Winner's details
21. The winner may be asked to take part in reasonable and related promotional publicity.
22. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion may be passed on
to third party suppliers, including Cloud Nine Incentives, only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the prize.
23. The surname and county of the winner will be disclosed to anyone who writes within one month after the published Closing Date and requests in writing by emailing [email protected] with the subject line “Network Shopping Weekend Prize Draw.”
Acceptance of Terms
24. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
General
25. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
26. The Prize Draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
27. The Promoter of this prize draw is SPARK Marketing Services Ltd, The Old Sawmills, Filleigh, EX32 0RN. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and without notice, or terminate or suspend the Prize Draw at any time due to circumstances beyond its control.
