Carers Week UK 2023 – FAQs

Carers Week 2023 takes place from 5-11 June 2023. It is a weeklong event where charities, organisations and individuals all get together to show support for the millions of unpaid carers across the UK.

Carers Week UK 2023's theme is 'recognising and supporting carers in the community'. This aims to spread the word about the challenges unpair carers face within the community and how they can be better supported by local authorities and the local population.

In honour of National Carers Week 2023, you can get involved with a range of activities. From special 'Care for a Cuppa' online Zoom calls to book and reading discussions with care author and activist Emily Kenway, whether you're a carer yourself or know someone who is, there are many ways that you can get involved.

Carers Week is organised and run by Carers UK with the help of other organisations and charities such as Age UK, Carers Trust, and MNDA.
