Why Do We Verify Members?
Good question. We verify our members to make sure our discounts stay exclusive to those who work in care roles. It helps protect the perks and keeps the community special. In short, we check before you save—because you deserve the best.
How Do I Get Verified?
When you sign up, we’ll ask you to verify your eligibility in one of two ways:
Option 1: Verify with a Work Email
Have a work email? Great. Here’s what to do:
- Register using your personal email (this is important—more on that in a sec).
- Then, enter your work email to verify.
- We’ll send a one-time link to your work inbox—click it, and boom, you’re verified.
🚨 Heads-up: The email you use to verify (your work one) is not automatically the one linked to your account. Unless you sign up with it first, your account will stay linked to your personal email. That confuses a few people, so we like to be clear!
Option 2: No Work Email? No Problem
If you don’t have a work email—or prefer not to use it—you can verify by uploading a document.
Here’s what you can use:
- Care organisation or employer ID card
- Recent payslip (within 3 months)
- Employment contract
- P60 showing relevant care-sector pension
- Proof of relevant training or registration
Just register with your personal email, upload one of those, and we’ll take care of the rest.
What If I Don’t Have Any Documents?
If you can’t provide either a work email or a valid document, we won’t be able to approve your membership right away. But if you believe you’re eligible, don’t give up—get in touch with our lovely Customer Service Team via our Contact Us page. They’ll help you figure things out.
What Happens Next?
Once you’ve submitted your email or document, we’ll review your info. We try to do this as quickly as possible—but we’re human, not robots, so we can’t always give an exact timeframe.
You’ll get an update when your account has been reviewed.
Common Questions (That We Hear A Lot)
📬 I Didn’t Get the Verification Email!
Don’t worry—it’s probably hiding in your spam or junk folder. If it’s not there:
- Log in to your account and resend the email.
- Still nothing? Let us know—we’ll sort it.
🔒 My Document Was Rejected—It Was Password-Protected
If you send us a password-protected document, we can’t open it. Just send us the password (only the password!)—or upload an unlocked version instead. You will receive an email asking for your password to your document, please don’t randomly send us your password.
🚫 I Got Declined. What Now?
If your account was declined, it means you don’t currently meet our eligibility criteria. But if you think there’s been a mistake, reach out to our team. We’ll be happy to take another look.
🌍 I Work in Care—but Not in the UK
Sadly, our scheme is only available to care workers in the UK. We know that’s disappointing, and we really appreciate the incredible work carers do all around the world.
A Quick Word About Privacy
We don’t hang on to your documents forever. In fact, any verification data is deleted after no later than 6 months, as per our Privacy Notice. Your information is safe with us.
